  1. MAGGIE13 is issue 13 of the Maggie Diskmagazine (dated Jan. 27, 1994).
  2. It's hard to describe all of the features of this excellent disk-
  3. magazine.  It has lots of humor, insightful editorials, useful
  4. software (a nice virus killer, some saved game files from Frontier
  5. Elite II, Falcon demos and utilities, and more), a nice graphics and
  6. sound interface, and more.  I enjoyed the interviews with historic
  7. figures about their preferences for Toast (Joan of Arc:  "Anything but
  8. burnt toast" is fine for her!).  Color or mono (the docs say there is
  9. some problems with the mono screens, but I didn't see any).  Mouse
  10. controlled. You must have a Magic Shadow compatible archiver to
  11. extract this file to a bland DS disk (I recommend the Magic Shadow
  12. Archiver II v.2.3+ ( MSA_2_32fc in the FORMTCPY category) or the Chaos
  13. Disk Compactor v.2.20 (CDC220fc in the same).  Don't bother ordering
  14. this if you only have 1/2 of RAM.  You will need a hard drive, two DS
  15. floppy drives, or a 520K RAM disk (use the RAM disk we provide on
  16. catalog disk 1) and one DS floppy to uncompress this file.  You will
  17. need at least 1 meg of RAM to do this.  Since this file is over 520K I
  18. would recommend that you just order this one file for $4, but you can
  19. fill the rest of the space with other files for the full $7 if you
  20. wish (obviously!).
